2025 Spiral Eyedd Recap
This year has been the year I established spiral eyedd! I am forever grateful I chose to take the leap, I have met so many awesome humans and dove into a new way of creating. I am immensely proud of the work it took to get here and in reflecting I have some key milestones I wanted to share.
spiral eyedd’s launch party in October was so heart warming, hosting at an intimate cafe venue and trusting the process. I was met with so much support from friends, family, and strangers, showing up and connecting through a space centred upon the journey of sharing my spiral eyedd story. The first spiral eyedd zine along with the puffy star tank, team spiral jersey, and mountain spiral shorts were sold out which really affirmed how people connected with the project and what I was sharing.
And then in December I hosted a small winter arts market, to be honest my capacity was low with family challenges + decreasing creative motivation. But I am excited to have another shot at doing a market in the future and still feeling the love from all the vendors who showed up! Plus the fact that everyone made at least one sale (and didn’t have to pay table fees) made me feel pretty good as a host.
In closing the year, I feel so fuelled as I work towards launching the second collection. I am excited to share more, but for now it has been a pleasure to be more spiral eyedd than ever before. I can’t wait to see where everything goes next.
I envision bigger shoots, more in person events, solo exhibitions, painting collections, and artist mental health support groups - to name a few dreams.
If you made it this far, thank you for being here! You may have noticed I have a cheeky pre launch of the next collection. You can shop the hater set, with the hate spiral sweater and swan pants on my site. More details coming soon about the creative story and vision of collection two, but if you’re already interested this is a chance to shop it before the year ends.
Gratefully,
Abbey xoxo
